The situation
The earthquake's epicenter was near San José del Palmar, in Chocó. It is the area that took the most direct hit and, at the same time, the hardest one to serve.
The damage is rural and scattered: there is no single point where you deliver and you're done, but communities far apart from each other, on unpaved roads with access that depends on the weather. That stretches the timelines and raises the cost of every delivery.
We are coordinating with organizations already operating in the department before committing to deliveries. Once a route is confirmed, we publish it.
